I can't condemn SaksDebt, cos I have some too (mine is a clearance MiuMiu purse that I thought would be really good for some nebulous future "work" situation). But I sure as hell condemn ASKING OTHER PEOPLE TO PAY IT OFF. meh. :P
it's also... i've noticed that ppl who live in NYC tend to have a skewed view of money, in terms of what is and is not a lot, compared to the rest of the country. A lot of times, clothes in NYC-based magazines where the writers say, "with prices like these, who cares if it lasts more than a season?" are things that would qualify as some of the "nicer" stuff in my wardrobe. This is why I'm a big fan of offprice and secondhand shopping. and yeah, I have a lot of debt, and I'm not proud of it, but the only person I would ever ask for help is my mom... not random strangers.
