some choke collar advice - as we had that problem when we were training bella: remove as many links of the collar as you can and still slip it around her head. i mean, make it *tight.* there's a very small skull under all that slipper fur, so you should be able to make a very small collar. this will make the colar much more effective and miss puppy will be much easier to correct. if a dog can exert her will and pull before the collar grabs, there's no point in it. she'll just think, 'if i can pull hard enough, i can have my way.' i know it sounds cruel, but it really isn't, and once she's trained, she won't hve to wear the choke collar.
