I know the feeling. Bonnie came from a farm, but she had AKC papers. Backyard breeders for sure, but the dog is REALLY smart and in good health and has an excellent personality.

Diva, who we got from a registered breeder, is VERY cute and sweet, but kind of dumb. Sometimes breeders just want to create precious puppies, because they sell quicker, without accounting for intelligence or so on.

Of course, I love them both so much...
