it has just occurred to me (and via a strange source) that the way out of my creative rut is probably not to sit in bed until i feel better, and work on schoolwork thereafter, but probably to go into my workroom (which is incredibly trashed right now, and doubles as a sort of side-area to my livingroom, also trashed), clean up as much as I can in a few hours or so, and get to it.
i'm just saying.
i have a lot of ideas but few of them have anything to do with school assignments. this whole graphic design thing is so not happening for me. i like it in theory but these prereqs are boring and i only feel like i need the drawing courses, they are the only ones which are not repetition. i will probably feel better when i have my computer stuff up and running, too.
oh yeah, the melatonin isn't working yet. but i persevere. i feel a bit more relaxed.
n-cat won't have anything to do with me - he has found a spot on Her bed where he can curl in his very own fleece blanket, a castoff from the occupant. i have attempted to move his little furnace of a body from the bed four times and each time he has sat with me for maybe two minutes, then wandered back in to reclaim his cozy spot. scamp.
