I forgot to mention earlier that I got a package in the mail today! Presents from my best friend and my niece (her daughter, who just turned 2). There is a metal birdcage with decorative stones on it, and a fairy statue in it, and there is a GIANT green ceramic caterpillar in a funny pose, with a green marabou collar and antennae made of green pompom balls on metal springs. It's at least a foot long and its silly cartoony head is at least 6" tall. It's truly epic. If I put it by my garden gnome Helmut, though, it will look like it is pursuing him, so I'm not sure yet where it will be living for the next few months. I also got a letter and some pictures, and I spent the afternoon replying to the letter even though I'm also going to write her an email.
I also got an order from Cosmic YumPop, but... I think I'm going to return part of it, as I just don't think I really like it. I got the BonBon "Oh L'Amour!" shirt (which is the one I'm not sure about) and the Sushi Pop "Raw Power!" shirt, which is really cute. For the longest time I wanted "Miso Happy!" but when the time came to choose I ended up preferring the funny smiling sashimi. (It's amazing what you'll wear on your chest vs what you'll put in your mouth.)
