I keep hearing it's really good... from fairly authoritative sources... and it looks interesting, even though I don't really read a lot of SF/Fantasy anymore. However, it'll be a while until I get the chance to read it. My "to read" pile has about twenty books in it. At least!
I would say that it would be easier to have an American buy it for you and send it as a gift. You can also have them get it "used" on Amazon, which would be cheaper... look for "Very Good" or "Like New" condition. Powell's probably has it, too.
