Emo the sock dog

For Valentine's Day last week, I made Boy a SOCK DOG! You can find the pattern at that link, but see below for some pics. This is made of a pair of red and black striped over-the-knee socks from Hot Topic, but you really don't need anything that long... socks coming up to mid-calf would work just as well. I have about 8" left over from the top of each sock.

How can you resist this face?
