:(

Those books had a huge positive influence on me when I was in elementary school (mostly about 3rd and 4th grade). I have read every single hardcover, many of the paperbacks, and a lot of the vintage editions with the original stories. So, bye bye to Mildred W. Benson, AKA the first "Carolyn Keene."

I didn't go to the movies last night. I was going to, but after dinner (at The Olive Garden, near the movie theater), I wasn't feeling so well. We came home, and I spent three hours on the phone with C. Then I spent most of the rest of the night in gastric trauma. I don't think it was from the food itself so much as from me eating a lot on an empty stomach.

Today... lots to do. and I'm feeling better.

I watched AbFab last night... I missed the new episodes when they were run last year, so I'm just catching them now. I think the new episodes are a lot funnier than the old ones... there seems to be less bad physical comedy from Jennifer Saunders, and more situational stuff or witty script stuff.
