today...
what a freakin' yawnfest.
I slept right through my eye exam appointment (which was admittedly kind of early). Oops. I think I will be rescheduling that.
After I got up and stared at the computer screen for a while (I finished Underground before I went to sleep last night), I got ready to go to return some stuff. No shopping trip is ever complete without the "returns" phase of the project. I don't think any of it was mine this time, at least... mostly shoes and such of my mom's.
So, without getting into a lot of detail, I got a handbag, which I needed (shoulder bags bug me and i'm still combing cat vomit out of my furry handbag), a Marc Jacobs scarf in burgundy and gold silk, and a pink 2/3-sleeve cardigan. (all cheapcheap - I think less than $50 total.) A cookbook and a literature book. & I bought myself the new Placebo cd.
Now I'm home with lots more to do. Tonight I'm going to get together some packages and do a little more housework. Fun? fun. rah.
