your critique of survivor is very apt! i've never thought of it that way b/c i never watch it really, simply b/c i don't have the time. now i have another reason, i guess? hehe. i just find it disturbing that we, the western public, actually 'enjoy' watching hand-picked people starving on television. i mean, damn you could have a 24/7 survivor network just by crew setting up shop in southern sudan. bah. privelege is a bizarre phenomena.
